OCU Women's Soccer sign Zenner

OCU women's soccer added their second signing of the off-season this past weekend by signing Sierra (Bunny) Zenner.  Zenner, a three sport athlete from Fairfield Union, will come to OCU and add to the teams' midfield and defense.  She helped lead the Lady Falcons in 2008 to a District Championship, and in 2007 to District Finalist.  Her senior year she scored 1 goal and had 2 assists but Coach Murton see's her being a big help on all aspects of the field.  "Bunny is going to help us set the tone defensively but I also see her setting up our attack.  She has a strong foot and is very physical, so we are happy to have her on board", mentioned Murton.

OCU women's soccer was started two years ago and has made it to the regional finals in each of those two years, a trend Coach Murton see's being moved forward.  "Bunny will basically replace Liesi South (now Liesi Hostetter) from a defensive standpoint and although those are big shoes to fill, I see her taking that role well and I am excited she is with us", Coach Murton added.

Zenner is the second signing along with Meahgan Stuart this season.  The women start up play this fall on September 3rd at St. Catherine College in Kentucky.
