Lady Trailblazers Volleyball fall to KCU

Ohio Christian University dropped three sets to the Lady Knights of Kentucky Christian University 12-25, 17-25, 19-25.

Freshman Mary Ashbaucher led the team with 4 aces and Freshman Tiffany Mosher led the defensive effort with 9 digs.

"We made a lot of unforced errors early and KCU is not a team you can do that against and expect to pull off a win," said Coach Wes Brothers. "The team gained some focus points from tonight's match and is committed to improving."

"This was the end of 4 Mid-East Region matches in a row, and overall we are improving," stated Coach Brothers. "The Mid-East region is tough and no team will just lay down and give anyone a win. We need to work on our mental toughness for each match, but our offensive production is headed in the right direction. We reached some important milestones and after seeing JBC, Crown, and KCU, we have new benchmarks to strive towards as we prepare for the Regional Tournament."

Ohio Christian University Women's volleyball has an overall record of 8-10 and has a NCCAA MidEast Region record of 3-6.

Ohio Christian Volleyball's next home match is Tuesday, October 12th versus OSU-Marion.
