OCU Takes First Regional Match

Ohio Christian tallied a win over the Free Will Baptist Bible College Flames with scores of 25-21, 25-8, 25-16.

In the first NCCAA MidEast Region matchup, OCU rallied behind a balanced offense to earn the win.

Ashley Southard led the Trailblazers with 8 kills and was closely followed by three other Trailblazers who had over 5 kills.

" We made a lot of mistakes tonight, but was able to do enough things right to come away with the victory," stated Coach Wes Brothers.

Ohio Christian University Women's volleyball has a record of 2-0 and a NCCAA record of 1-0.

Ohio Christian Volleyball's next home match is Tuesday, September 14^th versus Kentucky Christian.
