OCU Volleyball faces #8 Moody Bible Institute

Ohio Christian University played #8 ranked Moody Bible Institute and lost in 3 sets 11-25, 12-25, 15-25.

Sophomores Linette Shetler and Meredith Fairrow combined for 12 kills. Freshman Rachel Briggs contributed 12 digs and earned a season high 93% serve receive percentage.

"Moody is an all-around tough team in a very tough conference," stated Coach Wes Brothers. "Four of the Mid-West conference's seven teams are in the top 15. Moody has the best hitter we have seen all season in Audra Lehman who is ranked 4th nationally. I am really proud of a few defensive adjustments the team made in light of Moody's offensive strategy and the never give up attitude OCU had. We can work on the skills, but heart is hard to coach into a player."

OCU has an overall record of 8-13.

Ohio Christian University Volleyball's next home match is Tuesday, October 12th versus OCAC opponent OSU-Marion.
