David Case, DMin

Emeritus Professor of Theology

Education:
D.Min., in Religious Studies, Trinity Lutheran Seminary
M.Div., Ashland Theological Seminary
B.A., Indiana Wesleyan University

Biography:
David was born and reared in a small community in central Ohio—population less than 500. According to family lore, as a pre-school kid he would gather the small number of kids from his neighborhood into his family living room at home and “preach” to them while standing on a footstool. During his teenage years, David answered God’s call to ministry and went away to college to prepare for ministry. After graduating from college, he pastored a small congregation for three years. David will always be grateful to those dear people who called him their pastor. At seminary, he sensed God preparing him for a teaching ministry. David arrived in Circleville Bible College (now Ohio Christian University) in the year 1970. He will be eternally grateful to Melvin Maxwell, then president of Circleville Bible College, for taking a chance on him and inviting him to join the faculty. David says, “This has been my home ever since.”
