Admission Requirements for Adult and Graduate Programs

Admission requirements for degree programs offered by Ohio Christian University's College of Adult and Graduate Studies are listed below. The requirements are the same for onsite and online degree programs.

Associate Programs

  • Official or unofficial copy of high school graduation or GED certification.
  • Submit a completed application. A $25.00 application fee will be applied to the first tuition bill.

Bachelor Programs

  • A minimum of 50 semester credit hours from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • GPA of 2.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) on all prior work.
  • Submit a completed application. A $25.00 application fee will be applied to the first tuition bill.
  • Official transcripts should be sent directly to the Ohio Christian University AGS program directly from the degree-granting high school and any college institutions if transferring college credits, either by fax, email or by postal mail in a sealed envelope.
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the state he/she practices (Bachelor of Science in Nursing only).

Graduate Business Programs

  • Must hold a bachelor or graduate degree from a regionally or ABHE accredited institution with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0*
  • Submit a completed application.  A $25.00 application fee will be applied to the first tuition bill.
  • Official transcripts should be sent directly to the Ohio Christian University AGS program directly from the degree-granting institution, and any graduate institutions if transferring graduate hours, either by fax or by postal mail in a sealed envelope.

Graduate Ministry Programs

  • Must hold a bachelor or graduate degree from a regionally or ABHE accredited institution.
  • Completed application and payment of $25.00 application fee
  • Official transcripts should be sent to the Ohio Christian University AGS program directly from the baccalaureate degree-seeking institution, any graduate institutions if transferring graduate hours, and any institution where prerequisite courses were taken. They can be sent either by fax, email or by postal mail in a sealed envelope.
  • Ministry Reference Form (1 reference)
  • Statement of Faith Form 

Certificate-Associate Level

  • Completed application
  • 12 credit hours or 1 year of work experience in order to enroll
  • Those with less than 12 hours of college experience must submit a copy of a high school diploma or GED
  • Proof of payment 

Certificate-Bachelor Level

  • Completed application
  • 24 credit hours or 2 year of work experience in order to enroll
  • Those with less than 24 hours of college experience must submit a copy of a high school diploma or GED
  • Proof of payment 

*Any applicant not meeting the above-stated requirements may petition for consideration for AGS Admission.
