Ohio State Treasurer Josh Mandel Meets New Friends from Ohio Christian University
Richie’s New York Corner Deli in Circleville was the chosen lunch spot recently for several of Ohio Christian Universities adult and graduate studies Student Services team members. These ladies were in for a surprise when Ohio State Treasurer Josh Mandel stopped in during a tour of the state. Mandel paused for a photo, pictured left to right are OCU’s Michelle Blanton, Joanna Shipe, Mr. Mandel, Rika Williams and Lauren Breth. Mandel took time to comment on the impressive growth that Ohio Christian University is experiencing and the impact it is having on education in Ohio and throughout the country.
Rika Williams, pictured above, is the Director of Students Services for OCU’s College of Adult and Graduate Studies (AGS). AGS offers associate, bachelor, and master’s degree programs in areas such as healthcare management, nursing, substance abuse counseling, disaster management and relief, logistics, ministry and many more. Working adults can attend these affordable degree programs fully online or at one of 14 campus locations in Ohio and Georgia. Classes are convenient, provided on campus in the evenings or online in a cohort model of one class at a time, allowing students to focus on one subject during every five or six week period. Online classes are asynchronous, allowing students to participate and learn at any hour of the day or evening that is convenient.
