COVID-19 is impacting individuals around the world, and here at Ohio Christian University, our students are no exception. You can read more about the university's response here. While we continue to put our trust in an almighty God, we know that not everyone is able to get the support they need during this difficult time.
Through the OCU Trailblazer Emergency Transition Fund, the Office of Student Development will assist students by providing immediate financial support when they need assistance with unanticipated emergency expenses surrounding situations related to housing, food, concern for their personal, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and other essentials.
During the unprecedented times of this global pandemic, students are experiencing uncertainty, anxiety and concern about their financial circumstances. Unable to work the hours essential for them to meet their needs for the remainder of the academic year, students are wondering what will happen. Your gift will make the difference for a student who will be able to pay the balance of their rent, purchase food or make the payment on their health insurance. All classes have moved online and students have returned home. The unplanned expenses of returning home early have left some students in financial need and with no place to turn.
