Welcome Homeschool Students

Ohio Christian University welcomes home-schooled students – those who have been taught at home, either by their parents or by individuals outside of the traditional educational system. We aim to make your transition into college a smooth one, whether you are interested in getting a head start on your college degree by earning early college credit in our Trailblazer Academy, or you are looking to enroll in one of our On-Campus Undergraduate degree programs or one of our online degree programs with OCUOnline Plus.

Ohio Christian truly is a homeschool-friendly university. In fact, all homeschooled students enrolling in the on-campus program automatically receive the $2,000 per year OCU Homeschool Scholarship!

 

 

Three options for education:

Trailblazer Academy/College Credit Plus

  1. Complete the paper or online application (no application fee). Return Students, complete the Short Form Application
  2. Submit an official high school transcript to Ohio Christian University Trailblazer Academy Office
  3. Submit ACT/SAT/Accuplacer** scores

On Campus Degrees

  1. Submit a completed application along with a $25 non-refundable application fee. Apply Online
  2. Submit an official high school transcript to Ohio Christian University Admissions Office
  3. If you have not yet taken the  ACT, SAT or CLT, you may attend one of our scheduled ACT test dates.

 

All Homeschooled students enrolling in the on-campus program automatically receive the
$2,000 per year OCU Homeschool Scholarship!

 

OCUOnline Plus

  1. Submit a completed application. Apply Online.
  2. Submit an official high school transcript or homeschool equivalent to OCUOnline Plus Admissions.
  3. Send ACT/SAT/CLT results to OCUOnline Plus Admissions.
