Built in 2007, The Maxwell Center is always full of activity, hosting many major events on campus. The main gym and auxiliary gym are housed within the Maxwell Center along with the Office of the President, the Athletic Department offices and athletic training spaces, and a variety of classroom spaces.
The Dean and Diana Hickman Student Center
The Student Center includes the Cafeteria, Blaze Coffee Shop, the Connection Bookstore, Bridge Tutoring Center, the Hub, and the Psychology Department & Classrooms. As a student, you’ll spend a lot of time in the Student Center! The Hub is a place for our students to take a break from classes, homework, projects, and all that college entails! From video games to air hockey, and movie nights to Karaoke parties, there is always something going on in the Hub to unwind after a long day!
The Ministry and Performing Arts Center is the front entrance of campus. Built in 2017, the Ministry and Performing Arts Center (or MPAC) houses our Music Department, Theology & Ministry Department and is our primary place of worship for Chapel two times a week as well as a beautiful concert hall to highlight our talented performing arts programs!
Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center - OCUBIC
The Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center houses the Business Innovation Center (commonly referred to as the OCUBIC)- a small business development center designed around local entrepreneurial success to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enhance their continued education and individual development. It also houses the Business and Government Department and has conference rooms and training rooms for classes to meet in.
With six different dorms on campus, OCU has plenty of living space. Freshman dorms are located in the center of campus- Moore Hall for females and York Hall for males. Upperclassmen live in New Hall, Moats Hall, New 2, and the Townhouses (apartment-style housing). Students will grow close to their roommates and their dorm mates through different dorm activities throughout the year.
The Maxwell Library is the center of campus and is a member of OhioLINK, allowing students access to thousands of additional books and electronic resources- our library is much bigger than it looks! It is home to numerous study tables, a computer lab, the Esports Arena, The Writing Center, and the BlazerTech Help Desk.
Outdoor Areas / Athletic Fields
When the weather is nice, students can spend time on the sand volleyball courts, firepit, or any of our athletic fields to support our athletes! We also have The RoundTown Trail, which is approximately a mile-long walking/running/biking trail that connects the campus of OCU to Circleville!
