What costs are involved to participate in coursework through Trailblazer Academy?
If you are a public-school student in the state of Ohio, you may be eligible to participate in Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program. This program allows students to take approved college-level coursework at no charge. Coursework that does not align with CCP’s Course Eligibility regulations may still be charged. Textbooks and materials for coursework may also be covered under this program.
If you are a non-public or homeschool student, you may be able to participate in Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program tuition-free. These students must apply for tuition credits under the funding application system in OH ID each year. This must be completed by April 1.

Textbook costs for Online and OCU Main Campuses
Ohio Christian University’s Trailblazer Academy has committed to covering the cost of text materials for all College Credit Plus funded students taking coursework via our online and Main Campus programs only.
Costs for Self-Pay and Non-Ohio Resident Students
Students who live outside of Ohio, or Ohio residents who have not been awarded funding under College Credit Plus, or choose to take coursework not eligible under CCP, are permitted to take coursework under the Trailblazer Academy rate of $166.55 per credit hour. Self-paying students would be responsible for the costs of textbooks and materials related to the coursework.
Partnership High School Rates
College Credit Plus funded students who attend courses at one of our Partnership High Schools participate at no charge. Students who have not received College Credit Plus funding are charged at a rate negotiated with the Partnership High School. All textbook materials are covered by the Partnership High School for courses taught at their site.
