Our university community came together for our annual Employee Convocation—a special time to celebrate the people who make our campus thrive, recognize their contributions, and look ahead to a new school year.
The morning began with a time of praise and worship, setting the tone for a day centered on faith, fellowship, and our shared mission. We were excited to welcome our new hires for the year and introduce them to the university community they now call home.
The morning continued with the recognition of employees across the University through awards honoring their dedication, service, and contributions to OCU. These individuals represent the commitment and excellence that strengthen our university family each day.
President Saunders then shared a message focused on the importance of serving, encouraging faculty and staff alike to embrace that calling as we begin the new academic year.
The morning concluded with worship and Communion, reminding us of the faith and mission that unite us as a university community.
The day continued with fellowship over a taco bar and gourmet cupcakes. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, laugh, and enjoy time together as colleagues and friends.
Employee Convocation was truly a day of encouragement, celebration, and blessing. We are grateful for everyone who participated and for those who helped make the day meaningful as we prepare for another year of serving our students and advancing the mission of Ohio Christian University.
