Linda Diltz earned a Bachelor’s degree from Wilmington College in 1973 and a Master’s of Education degree from Ashland University in 1995. She taught in the Westfall Local School District in Pickaway County for 32 years, where she served as a classroom teacher of mathematics and the Math Teacher Leader for grades K-8. Upon retiring from the Westfall Local School District in 2007, Linda accepted a position as an affiliate faculty member in the Teacher Education Department at Ohio Christian University. She currently teaches the math methods classes for both the Early and Middle Childhood programs. She also helps to prepare prospective Teacher Education candidates for success on the Praxis I test. For the past six years, Linda has served as the math instructor for the Kids on Campus summer math, science, and technology camp that is held at OCU.
Linda met her husband Jim in 1969 at Wilmington College, and they were married in 1972. They have two daughters who are both married and one grandson. Jim and Linda have been members of Emmanuel United Methodist Church since 1980, where Jim serves as a trustee, and Linda serves as a local lay leader and chair of the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee. For relaxation, they enjoy trips to Myrtle Beach and Amish Country.
