OCU alumnus David Sabol has had an exciting opportunity to take his skills on the road this summer, serving as the stage manager for Christian music artist Leanna Crawford’s summer tour.
David’s journey began through his work at OCU. While serving as a graduate assistant for Conference Services, David helped with Crawford’s visit to campus for the Sisterhood Tour in February. Through that connection, he was invited to join her summer tour as stage manager.
This summer, David has traveled to Wisconsin, Indiana, Tennessee, Maryland, and Kentucky, including stops at the Alive Music Festival in Mineral City, Ohio, and the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
“Being on tour has been an incredible experience!” said David. “It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s rewarding and so much fun! I’ve had the chance to meet and work with so many incredibly talented people across the industry and grow both personally and professionally while doing something I love. It’s an experience I’ll never forget.”
David recently graduated from OCU with his master’s degree and will continue serving the university in a full-time role as Conference Services Coordinator/AV Technician.
We are proud of David and the way he is representing Ohio Christian University through his work in the worship and events industry. Way to represent OCU, David!
