Ohio Christian University has been ranked as offering among the best Organizational Leadership programs in the country.

This ranking from College Choice, a leading authority in college and university rankings and resources, puts Ohio Christian University in 14th place for Best Organizational Leadership Degrees. The complete ranking list is available here.

According to College Choice, the rankings are based on institutional reputation, graduation rates, selectivity, and faculty resources.  Data for ranking comes from the National Center for Education Statistics’ IPEDS database, U.S. News & World Report, PayScale, and individual college websites.

College Choice notes that “Ohio Christian University is known for its flexible and affordable online degrees for busy adults and working professionals.”

Students pursuing a bachelor degree may add a concentration in Organizational Leadership comprising two five-week courses that include Leading Change and Leadership Communication.

The University's online Master of Arts in Leadership provides four concentrations:  Human Resources, Healthcare Management, Business Management, and Nonprofit Management.

U.S. News and World Report ranks Ohio Christian University one of the Best Regional Colleges in the Midwest. Not only is it great academically, it’s affordable too. Ninety-four percent of full-time students receive a financial aid package.

Dr. Caleb T. Friedeman recently joined Ohio Christian University’s Religion Department as Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies. A disciple of Jesus Christ with a passion to serve the Church as a pastor-theologian, Friedeman brings to the department the heart of a pastor and the mind of a scholar. Friedeman holds a B.A. in Ancient Languages from Asbury University, an M.A. in Biblical Literature from Wesley Biblical Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology (New Testament) from Wheaton College. President Mark A. Smith will preside over the largest graduation ceremony in the history of Ohio Christian University this coming Saturday, May 5, 2012, with 386 graduates.This year's graduation includes the conference of 141 associate's degrees and 235 bachelor's degrees. OCU also celebrates its first conference of master's degrees with 10 students earning the Master of Arts in Ministry.Graduation practice (required for all graduating students) begins a 1 p.m. on Friday, May 4. The graduation ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5 in the OCU Maxwell Center.
