Ohio Christian University Launches Storytellers Guild image

Ohio Christian University recently launched a Storytellers Guild at the Circleville campus.  The Guild is made up of staff, faculty, community members, and students who believe in the power, and the wonder of storytelling.    The group was started to promote the art of storytelling, and to foster the growth and development of storytellers.  OCU’s Storytelling Guild is not just for kids, or those studying to work with kids.  The idea of storytelling is beneficial for all majors at the university.  Stories are how we communicate with each other.  Stories are an important part of our lives. They tell us who we are, where we’ve been, and where we are heading.  Stories are the glue that holds us all together.  The Storyteller’s Guild at OCU meets monthly at the Maxwell Library on the OCU campus.  The public is welcome to attend, and participate.  Contact the Maxwell library for dates and times.
