Great Crowds. Excellent Performances. God's Presence!The 8th Annual Gill Conley Homecoming Gospel Concert was an incredible evening with nearly 1,300 in attendance. Featured artists included The Collingsworth Family, Greater Vision, and The Talleys. The wonderful evening was filled with praise and honor to God.Tony McCrary commented on the concert:“This was the best concert event I have been a part of in my four years here at Ohio Christian University. Great crowd, excellent artists, and most of all, God’s presence filled the Maxwell auditorium.”From the family harmonies of the Collingsworth’s and Talley’s, to the traditional Southern Gospel sounds of Greater Vision, everyone in attendance was blessed and had a wonderful evening.

Ohio Christian University’s Homecoming and Family Day 2019 welcomed over 400 alumni and their family members home on Oct. 12. The atmosphere was warm and lively despite the chilly fall weather that forced many of the events inside. The day started early with 74 participants shrugging off temperatures in the mid-40’s as they ran or walked in the 7th annual Josias Rodriguez 5k Run/Walk. The event is held in memory of a much-loved ministry student who tragically lost his life in a hiking accident. Josias Rodriguez’s mom spoke briefly at the start of the race with his dad firing the

Ohio Christian University hosted its eighth Annual Festival of Carols and Messiah on Saturday, December 7, at 7:00 pm, in the beautifully decorated Maxwell Center.  Guests were treated to the artistry of the OCU Chorale, joined by members of the Circleville Community Choir and an excellent 40-piece orchestra including OCU students, faculty members and area musicians. In the spirit of season, the Festival was the university’s gift to the community with one request. Guests were asked to bring canned food items to share with local ministries who support needy families in the area.Dr.

On March 23rd of this year Ohio Christian University dedicated the 30,000 square foot, $6 million Dean and Diana Hickman Student Center. The Center, which includes a cafeteria, café, bookstore, intramural gym space, game room, classrooms and offices, was built to help support and develop the rapidly growing student body at OCU.The building is named for Dean and Diana Hickman in gratitude for their very generous support of the university and this project.  The Hickman Student Center adjoins the Maxwell Center and the Science and Logistics Center. The second annual Lest We Forget ceremony remembering the victims of the 9/11 attacks will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Maxwell Center at Ohio Christian University.“The city leaders and I have all come together because we wanted to honor first responders and the military on the anniversary of 9/11,” said Pastor Timothy Throckmorton, organizer for the event.The evening, free for guests, will feature former congressman Bob McEwen, as well as performances by the Circleville Pumpkin Show Band and the Community Church Choir.Throckmorton said he picked McEwen because of his abilities as
