Reunion2022: an all-day event on Saturday, June 25. Through alumni athletic
games, class reunions, our Trailblazer Celebration and dinner, our goal is to

January 15, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Ministry and Performing Arts Center
(MPAC). This Fellowship for Performing Arts production has toured the United
States from New York to California and played on campuses such as Princeton,
Vanderbilt, Wheaton, UNC-Chapel Hill, and many other esteemed institutions of

Ohio Christian University held its first ever Summer Celebration Picnic on
Friday, July 16, 2021. This was a time for OCU Alumni, donor partners and
community members to get together and enjoy Food, Friends and Fellowship. In
spite of some scattered storms, many people of all ages gathered together.
OCU’s on-site dining service, Simply Delicious by Hallmark, provided a
wonderful picnic dinner, while guests enjoyed the music ministry of The Lore
Family (Portsmouth, OH) and Richard Jordan (Nashville, TN).
University faculty and staff members also stayed for the evening event.

30th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament Raises Over $40,000 for Students

Ohio Christian University's 30th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament was held
on Saturday, June 19th, at the Pickaway Country Club Golf Course. Four-person
teams enjoyed a round of golf, raising over $40,000 to fund scholarships for
current students. These OCU Scholarships are awarded to current campus
students each year at the Annual Scholarship Banquet.
"The annual OCU golf tournament is one of our major fundraising events for
student scholarships – and is also a great way to connect with donors who
love golf and love our students", explained OCU President Dr. Jon Kulaga.

On Thursday, April 12, sixty-nine students attended Ohio Christian
University’s annual Scholarship Banquet. Vice President for Advancement
Bill Pugh hosted the event. President Jon S. Kulaga presented scholarship
awards.
Scholarship recipients Kiirsten Truex, Samuel Church, and Samantha Roberts
gave testimonials. President Kulaga made remarks, posed for pictures with

Ohio Christian University students practiced service-above-self on their
Ralph C. Starkey Community Action Day (CAD) again this year, vitalizing the
University’s mission of benefiting others through acts of service that
build and strengthen character.
Students contributed their time and energy in 26 projects ranging from
singing in nursing homes to clearing a golf course after the Scioto River
flooded many of its fairways and holes.
Student teams cleaned front yards, beatified parks and downtown streets,
washed windows, mulched yards and flowerbeds, and cleaned out barns, creating

Over 950 Christmas celebrants attended Ohio Christian University’s 2017
Festival of Carols performed for the first time on December 2nd and 3rd in
the University’s new Ministry and Performing Arts Center! In the future,
the Center will be used for the community as well as OCU events.
Produced as a gift to the community, the University Chorale, Chamber Singers,
Circleville Community Choral Society, and Festival Orchestra beautifully
realized this year’s What Can I Give? theme. Instead of focusing on what we
receive in this Christmas season, Dr. Bennett focused on paying forward with

Ohio Christian University ushered in the Advent season with old traditions
and new ones. The evening started with University employees connecting and
being encouraged by Rev. David Dean reading the Christmas Story to children
present and with OCU students singing carols. The celebration moved
outdoors for a public gathering with more carol singing at the front of
Maxwell Center, followed by a countdown to initiate Christmas lighting of the
campus and an impressive fireworks display timed to start with playing of a
prerecorded musical program.
