OCU is pleased to announce that Atlanta businessman Dr. Malon Mimms has gifted a 2.55 million dollar building and property in Atlanta, Georgia.The building is located on I-75 and will be used to establish the second Georgia educational site for OCU. In giving the gift, Dr. Mimms expressed a hope to provide a great opportunity for the Atlanta area by investing in Ohio Christian University. Dr. Mimms also expressed that he hopes others will be inspired to give to the cause of Christian education.OCU will use the building to offer AIM evening classes designed for busy adults.
The first Georgia educational site is located at Rock Springs Church in Milner and began six months ago.Ohio Christian University is one of the fastest growing universities in Ohio. Over the past five years enrollment has grown from 400 to 2,400. With a heritage dating back to 1948, Ohio Christian University offers a complete education that develops students intellectually, professionally and spiritually. OCU offers degree programs designed to equip students to become leaders in their careers, communities, families and in the world. Students enrolled in OCU’s traditional undergraduate program attend classes at its main campus in Circleville, Ohio. OCU’s Adult & Online Degree Programs (AIM) provides several campus locations in central Ohio and near Atlanta, Georgia, as well as fully online degree programs.
