OCU Spring Dinner Concert Raised Support for Scholarship Fund image

The annual Ohio Christian University Spring Dinner Concert was held on Saturday, March 22, 2014. More than 400 Southern Gospel Music fans enjoyed a wonderful meal, and an additional 300 guests joined for a delightful night of gospel music featuring The Guardians and The Booth Brothers. The proceeds of the annual dinner concert support the Dean and Diana Hickman Scholarship Fund. Our gratitude is extended to all who contributed financially to make it possible for students to attend Ohio Christian University.Upcoming concerts include the Homecoming Gospel Concert with The Talleys, Greater Vision, and The Collingsworth Family on October 3, 2014 and the 2015 Spring Dinner Concert with The Guardians and The Collingsworth Family on March 21, 2015.

Ohio Christian University will host the 7th annual Josias Rodriguez 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 12. The event is held in honor of Josias Rodriguez, a student who tragically lost his life in a hiking incident. Ohio Christian University is excited to host an upcoming concert, “An Evening with Mark Lee,” organized by Living by Faith Ministries. Lee is a founding member and guitarist for popular Christian rock band Third Day. The concert will be taking place on Sept. 16 from 7:00-8:30 pm, with doors opening at 6:00. Ohio Christian University is delighted to welcome the Goodtime Quilters Guild to campus for the fourth year in a row. The guild will be holding their 26th annual Quilt Show in the Maxwell Center on August 1-3. One of the organizers and president of the guild Judy Clifton expects the show to attract over 1,300 guests. “The quilt show is something we do to be an entertainment and to show what we do,” Clifton said. “We’ll hang 180 to 200 quilts. The talent of these ladies is just phenomenal, they just do fabulous work.” The show is the 145-member guild’s biggest event of the year. It

Ohio Christian University hosted its ninth annual Festivalof Carols and Messiah concert on December 6, 2014, in the beautifully decorat­ed Maxwell Center. Ohio Christian University's Small Group Ministry will be joining with each residence hall, sports team and campus department to host its second annual Trunk or Treat for the Circleville community on Thursday, October 30th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative for families with children to enjoy the American tradition of trick or treating. Volunteers from OCU decorate their car trunks with a non-scary scene such as Noah's Ark or Candy Land and pass out candy to guests. "We hope to show the love and joy we have in Christ by embracing guests with smiles, and of course

The Alumni Association wants to thank everyone who participated in Homecoming 2014 and helped make the weekend such a great success!The festivities kicked-off with the Alumni Chapel on Thursday, October 2rd. Worship was led by Jake Marburger ('12), Mike Farrell ('12), Amanda Patrick ('11), and Trent Thompson (2010-12) and the chapel speaker was Dr. Joe Boysel (‘98).
