CIRCLEVILLE, OH – After graduating from Ohio Christian in 2018, Zach Mason was still unsure the plan God had for him. A four year member of the Trailblazer baseball program, Mason graduated with a bachelor's in psychology, but would soon be called to a different opportunity.

Dr. Melvin Maxwell Graduates to Glory

Melvin Maxwell was known as a powerful man of God and prayer warrior by those
who knew him. On Saturday, July 4, 2020, Dr. Maxwell graduated from this life
to his eternal home and was united with his Savior whom he loved. He was born
in Georgetown, Ohio, on November 15, 1921, and grew up during the Great
Depression. Though his mother died at an early age, his father was a godly
man and raised him and his brother Millard to follow Christ no matter how
hard the situation.
On August 25, 1942, Maxwell married his wife, Laura. They had three children
together: Lawrence (Larry), John, and

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Back in February, the Ohio Christian Baseball team helped
host a local student battling cancer in the community. Sam, who currenlty has
spinal ependymoma, came to campus on February 24th to hang out with the team
and experience a practice.

Casey Coons Inducted Into Taylor University Hall of Fame

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian University Head Men's Basketball Coach Casey
Coons was inducted into the Taylor University Athletics Hall of Fame this
past Saturday, joining the Class of 2019 that also included Molly Currens,
Tanya Crevier, Rick Atkinson, and Tyler Beachler. Coons was a member of the
Trojan's basketball team as a player from 2009-2013 and later served as an
assistant coach for the program.

I enjoyed rubbing shoulders with other men and women who are passionate
about their faith and their studies, and I loved how the professors truly
cared about their subject matter and us as students.

2013 Ohio Christian University graduate and former Disaster Management and
Relief student Tempest Norris recently had her work published in the
quarterly academic journal, Healing Ministry. The issue was dedicated to
prose and poetry surrounding emotional trauma. Ms. Norris had stiff
competition for the issue and beat out a number of other submissions to earn
the spot in Healing Ministry.Tempest’s poem, “What Would Happen” was
originally written for one of her disaster classes at OCU. The course
instructor, Thad Hicks stated, “Tempest is very talented. I knew the first
time I saw her
