C.S. Lewis is Coming to Ohio Christian University

Ohio Christian University is excited to bring “The Most Reluctant
Convert” to its Circleville Campus. There will be one show only, on
January 15, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Ministry and Performing Arts Center
(MPAC). This Fellowship for Performing Arts production has toured the United
States from New York to California and played on campuses such as Princeton,
Vanderbilt, Wheaton, UNC-Chapel Hill, and many other esteemed institutions of
higher learning. Using C.S. Lewis’ own words, award-winning actor Max
McLean brings the brilliant Oxford fellow to life, taking us on his
extraordinary

carols. Conductor Ron Jenkins will lead the Columbus Symphony in
performances of “Winter Wonderland,” “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,”
“Sleigh Ride,” “All I Want for Christmas is You,” and many more.

2021 Summer Celebration Picnic

Ohio Christian University held its first ever Summer Celebration Picnic on
Friday, July 16, 2021. This was a time for OCU Alumni, donor partners and
community members to get together and enjoy Food, Friends and Fellowship. In
spite of some scattered storms, many people of all ages gathered together.
Matt Hunnell, VP of University Advancement commented: “Despite a little
rain, we had a great turn out. It was wonderful to see smiling faces on
campus, and our friends enjoying music, a good meal, and time together. We
look forward to many more events and gatherings on campus in the

30th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament Raises Over $40,000 for Students

Ohio Christian University's 30th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament was held
on Saturday, June 19th, at the Pickaway Country Club Golf Course. Four-person
teams enjoyed a round of golf, raising over $40,000 to fund scholarships for
current students. These OCU Scholarships are awarded to current campus
students each year at the Annual Scholarship Banquet.
"The annual OCU golf tournament is one of our major fundraising events for
student scholarships – and is also a great way to connect with donors who
love golf and love our students", explained OCU President Dr. Jon Kulaga.

four-person teams enjoyed a round of golf raising over $30,000 to fund
scholarships for current students. These OCU Scholarships are awarded to
current campus students each spring at the Annual Scholarship Banquet.

OCU Hosts Second Annual 9/11 Memorial Service

The second annual Lest We Forget ceremony remembering the victims of the 9/11
attacks will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Maxwell Center at Ohio
Christian University.“The city leaders and I have all come together because
we wanted to honor first responders and the military on the anniversary of
9/11,” said Pastor Timothy Throckmorton, organizer for the event.The
evening, free for guests, will feature former congressman Bob McEwen, as well
as performances by the Circleville Pumpkin Show Band and the Community Church

guest evangelist, Rev. Susie Shellenberger. Rev. Shellenberger created and

OCU Hosts 7th Annual Festival of Carols and Messiah

Ohio Christian University will host its seventh annual “Festival of Carols
and Messiah,” Saturday, December 1, at 7:00 pm, in the beautifully
decorated Maxwell Center. Guests will enjoy the artistry of the OCU
Chorale, joined by members of the Circleville Community Choir and a live

Bible College (now Ohio Christian University), as the speaker for its
inaugural Throwback Chapel on October 6, 2012.For the first time, a
