coronavirus precautions and a ban prohibiting mass gatherings of more than
100 people, Ohio Christian University has postponed (Fall) the Engage
Conference that was scheduled in the Ministry

Ohio Christian Welcomes David Uhl

Ohio Christian University is pleased to introduce David Uhl (‘03) as the
incoming Assistant Vice President of Advancement. Uhl graduated from Ohio
Christian and will return to his alma mater on January 6. In his new role,
Uhl will be involved in fundraising, community engagement, and alumni and
church relations.
Uhl obtained his bachelor’s in Business and Ministry from Ohio Christian in
2003. He later obtained his master’s in Leadership for Higher Education
from Capella University in 2005 and a Ph.D in Organizational Management and
Leadership from the same institution in 2010.

Youth Leadership Conference Focuses on Engaging Youth Culture

On Thursday, March 7th, Ohio Christian University is hosting an all-day Youth
Leadership Conference focusing on Engaging Youth Culture.
The program is ideal for all church pastors and youth pastors. Focused
breakout sessions will cover these key topics:
- Mental Health and Suicide
- Refreshing your Ministry
- Developing World Changers by Partnering with Non-Profits
- How Media is Shaping your Students
- Working with Church Leadership

OCU Celebrates Christmas with Tree Lighting, Fireworks, and Fun

The Ohio Christian University family with community neighbors celebrated the
Christmas holiday season on November 30 at University’s Maxwell Center at
1476 Lancaster Pike, Circleville, 43113.
Celebrants sang favorite carols around the lighted Christmas tree, sharing
good cheer while remembering the reason for the season - Christ's birth.
After viewing awe-inspiring fireworks displays, the merry-makers flowed
into Maxwell Center for hot chocolate, cookie decorating, storytelling, and
for children visits with Santa Claus.

Church Service Day 2018 – Goodwill Trumps Rain!

Church Service Day is an annual opportunity for Ohio Christian University
(OCU) students to practice giving back to area churches and charities through
hands-on work projects completed all on a single day!
Church Services Day 2018, undertaken on September 26, proved a worthy
addition to this traditional service-above-self event! About 400 students
lent their energies to 31 work projects in local churches, residences, and
charity organizations.
After an early breakfast, students formed into teams and received directions
to and instructions for their projects. Eager teams headed out to

The 2018 Homecoming Weekend celebrates the 70th anniversary of the school
with alumni of Ohio Christian University (Mount of Praise Bible College
1948-1954, Circleville Bible College 1954-2006).
Our “A Future with a History” theme highlights the importance of
recognizing who we are and acknowledging from where we come.
The gathering, supported by the Alumni Association and Student Government
Association, builds on our evolving traditions. Highlights include:
