Engage Conference 2020 POSTPONED (due to COVID-19 concerns)

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS
In compliance with Governor DeWine's announcement (3/12/20) concerning
coronavirus precautions and a ban prohibiting mass gatherings of more than
100 people, Ohio Christian University has postponed (Fall) the Engage
Conference that was scheduled in the Ministry

Ohio Christian Welcomes David Uhl

Ohio Christian University is pleased to introduce David Uhl (‘03) as the
incoming Assistant Vice President of Advancement. Uhl graduated from Ohio
Christian and will return to his alma mater on January 6. In his new role,
Uhl will be involved in fundraising, community engagement, and alumni and
church relations.
Uhl obtained his bachelor’s in Business and Ministry from Ohio Christian in
2003. He later obtained his master’s in Leadership for Higher Education
from Capella University in 2005 and a Ph.D in Organizational Management and
Leadership from the same institution in 2010.

Christ’s birth in its annual Christmas concert, Festival of Carols. The
concert presented this story of glory to audiences of almost 500 on both Dec.
7 and 8 in the Ministry

Josias Rodriguez 5k Run/Walk at Ohio Christian University

Fall Revival with Rev. Susie Shellenberger

Ohio Christian University is excited to welcome Rev. Susie Shellenberger as
the featured speaker for this year’s Fall Revival. Fall Revival will start
on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, and will conclude on Thursday, September 10.
Susie is no stranger to our revival stage. She has spoken at Ohio Christian
University each year since 2013 and every year she has left a phenomenal
impression on our student body.
Rev. Susie Shellenberger grew up in Bethany, Oklahoma, and her fun and
colorful personality is incorporated into her ministry. She attended Southern
Nazarene University where

In 2013, the OCU community was deeply impacted by the sudden loss of Josias
Noel Rodriguez, a 19 year-old sophomore in the traditional program. A man
after God’s own heart, Josias was an incredible friend to many on campus
and was known as a shining example of Christian character.
The Run for Rodriguez 5k and Family Fun Run was established to celebrate his
life. All proceeds from this community event go to the Josias

Festival of Carols 2014 9th Annual Christmas Gift to the Community

Ohio Christian University hosted its ninth annual Festivalof Carols and
Messiah concert on December 6, 2014, in the beautifully decorated Maxwell
Center. Guests were treated to the artistry of the OCU Chorale, joined by
members of the Circleville Community Choir and an excellent40-piece
orchestra including students, faculty members, and local musicians. In the
spirit of the season, the event was the university’s gift to the community
with one request: guests were asked to bring canned food items to donate to
local ministries who support needy families. Those who arrived early

OCU to Host Trunk or Treat on October 30th

Ohio Christian University's Small Group Ministry will be joining with each
residence hall, sports team and campus department to host its second annual
Trunk or Treat for the Circleville community on Thursday, October 30th from 5
p.m. to 7 p.m. Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative for families with
children to enjoy the American tradition of trick or treating. Volunteers
from OCU decorate their car trunks with a non-scary scene such as Noah's Ark
or Candy Land and pass out candy to guests. "We hope to show the love and
joy we have in Christ by embracing guests with smiles, and of course
