Ohio Christian University hosted a community event on campus the last weekend in August. The featured guest was Ride4Life/Bill Glass Behind the Walls who performed a motorcycle stunt show that was well-received by the many guests who gathered around the stage area. Leading up to the stunt show, the Jeff Polen Band covered a number of classics that helped warm up the crowd. The event had multiple community organizations, including the Pickaway County Library, The Table (a ministry that feeds those in need), as well as campus groups who provided entertainment and activities for families and children.
Matt Hunnell, Vice President of Advancement & Marketing said of the event, “Ohio Christian University has been a part of the Circleville community for almost 75 years. OCU is part of the fabric of the local community and we hope that events like this one will encourage community members to come to enjoy the campus, and see what OCU has to offer.”
This was what the university hopes is the first of many more community events to be hosted on campus. Some other events hosted on campus include: Festival of Carols (annual Christmas concert), concerts with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, theater presentations, and guest concerts/shows.
