THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS

In compliance with Governor DeWine's announcement (3/12/20) concerning coronavirus precautions and a ban prohibiting mass gatherings of more than 100 people, Ohio Christian University has postponed (Fall) the Engage Conference that was scheduled in the Ministry & Performing Arts center on campus on March 31, 2020.

To ensure that information provided to all staff, faculty, students, family members, and community members be the most up to date, Ohio Christian University launched a Center for Coronavirus Updates on the university website. We encourage you to visit often as the content is being frequently updated.

Ohio Christian University (OCU) hosted its annual Scholarship Banquet on Tuesday, March 26th where donors were celebrated and thanked for their contributions to the students of OCU. Over $100,000 in scholarships from 68 separate donors were awarded to students in attendance. Parents of recipients were encouraged to attend the banquet and meet the donors supporting their children’s education. Over 950 Christmas celebrants attended Ohio Christian University’s 2017 Festival of Carols performed for the first time on December 2nd and 3rd in the University’s new Ministry and Performing Arts Center!  In the future, the Center will be used for the community as well as OCU events. Produced as a gift to the community, the University Chorale, Chamber Singers, Circleville Community Choral Society, and Festival Orchestra beautifully realized this year’s What Can I Give? theme. Ohio Christian University ushered in the Advent season with old traditions and new ones.  The evening started with University employees connecting and being encouraged by Rev. David Dean reading the Christmas Story to children present and with OCU students singing carols.  The celebration moved outdoors for a public gathering with more carol singing at the front of Maxwell Center, followed by a countdown to initiate Christmas lighting of the campus and an impressive fireworks display timed to start with playing of a prerecorded musical program. Rev. David Whetstone, founder of Mentor Leaders, is a featured speaker during OCU’s Missions Week, October 23-26, on the university's main Circleville campus. Mentor Leaders, based in Nolensville, TN, is a non­profit organization using community-based efforts to bring aid, restoration, and sustainability to global neighborhoods. Ohio Christian University hosted its 10th annual Leadership Forum on April 19, 2016, in the Maxwell Center on its Circleville campus featuring speakers: leadership expert, Dr. John Maxwell; NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback, Jim Kelly; and special guest Senator David Perdue. More than 1300 people gathered for the main event, and hundreds more participated in smaller sessions throughout the day.  When asked about the impact of events like Leadership Forum, John Maxwell said, "Developing quality, Christian leaders is the only way to ensure that the future is better than today."
