CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Ohio Christian University Lady Trailblazers lost 88-81 to the Point Park Pioneers after a missed 3-point attempt by Darcy Mitchell (FR/London, OH) in the final minute of the contest. Point Park's Tanner Hoffer would grab the rebound, securing the game for the Pioneers. The Trailblazers fall to 7-8 on the season, while the Pioneers advance to 3-3

Ohio Christian's Rachel Gillum (SO/Springboro, OH) continues to dominate on both ends of the floor as she scored 27 points with 21 rebounds. Thamara Belizaire (JR/Fort Pierce, FL) would give a solid contribution off the bench with 11 points and 7 rebounds herself.

Point Park had 3 players in double digits, led by Taylor Rinn with 29 points & 14 rebounds. Followed by Michelle Burns (21 pts, 9 reb, 9 ast) and Taylor Kirschner (15 pts, 5 reb).

Coach Brenda Baker was proud of the effort her team put in the second half.

" Despite being down going in to the second half, the girls played tough and fought back. We just didn't have enough left in us to pull it out."

The Lady Trailblazers will look to bounce back as they hit the road to take on the Red Storm from the University of Rio Grande on February 13th @ 1:00 PM.
