Kokomo, IN – The Lady Trailblazers took the trek over to IU-Kokomo for the first of a two game road trip weekend. Following a two-game losing streak, the girls planned to change the narrative.

The match ended up not going in the favor of the Lady Trailblazers as they lost the first set 13-25. Kokomo took a demanding lead in sets with their hitting ability. Kokomo outkilled OCU by ten on only one more attack attempt.

The second set got slightly better for the Trailblazers as they fought back better than in the first. Although the girls had more kills than previously, so did the Cougars as they had 18 to the Lady Trailblazers' 7. Kokomo won the set, 16-25

The third set ended up being both team's worst sets of the match, but unfortunately the Cougars crept up ahead winning the set, 12-25.

This gives the Lady Trailblazers a 3-game losing streak going into St. Mary of the Woods College today at Noon.
