The Melvin and Laura Maxwell Library has been a cornerstone to support learning at Ohio Christian University for many decades. In addition to physical resources, the library provides faculty and students with access to a growing collection of digital content. Through membership in the OhioLINK consortium, the library participates in cost-effective digital resource acquisition, provides users with state-of-the-art discovery and access technologies, and cooperates in the sharing of more than 50 million physical items across the state. In fall 2013, students were invited to participate in surveys through the higher education consulting group Noel Levitz. Participating in these national surveys allows OCU to see how satisfied students are as compared to others around the country. In the traditional undergraduate program, current OCU students showed high levels of satisfaction with library resources and services as compared to students in other categories. The comparison points were OCU students in 2009 as well as students in national four-year private institutions and institutions who are members of the Association for Biblical Higher Education. In the College of Adult and Graduate Studies (AGS), the feedback revealed that online students perceived they had adequate access to resources, with an increased level of satisfaction as compared to four years ago. Current students’ results were compared with OCU students in 2009 as well as students in national online programs. These results confirm the high levels of satisfaction demonstrated in end-of-course evaluations and alumni surveys. Ohio Christian University is continually seeking feedback from current students, recent graduates, long-time alumni, and advisory groups so that improvements can continue to strengthen students’ satisfaction and preparation for service.Ohio Christian University, founded in 1948 and one of the fastest growing universities in the nation, is committed to offering a complete education that develops students intellectually, professionally, and spiritually. OCU offers degree programs for traditional undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult and online students. Additionally, the Trailblazer Academy allows high school students to complete college classes. All programs are designed to equip students to become leaders in their careers, communities, families, and the world. Ohio Christian is approved by the Ohio Board of Regents and accredited through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association and the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
