OCU Hosts OCSAA Final Four

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Ohio Christian University Athletic Department was pleased to once again host the boys and girls state basketball championships for the Ohio Christian School Athletic Association (OCSAA) on March 1-2. Ohio Christian has been a long-standing supporter of the OCSAA, hosting both their Fall and Winter championships in soccer, volleyball, and basketball.

The 2019 Final Four consised of eight games including four semifinals, two consolation games, and two championship games. On the girl’s side, the New Hope Lady Statesmen took the state title, while the Sabres from First Baptist took the boy’s state title. 

In total, the weekend games were viewed by over 7,000 individuals on Facebook Live through the Trailblazer Athletic page. The event is a quality opportunity to draw high school students to campus with the hopes of recruiting them to attend Ohio Christian following graduation.
