site Niche's list of the top 25 safest college campuses in America. Niche
analyzed data and student reviews to look at which campuses are the safest.

with little to no campus crime, drugs, or alcohol usage. They consider not
only the campus data, but also the crime incidents in the local area, rates
for violence and arrests, and comb through student

Dr. Melvin Maxwell Graduates to Glory

Melvin Maxwell was known as a powerful man of God and prayer warrior by those
who knew him. On Saturday, July 4, 2020, Dr. Maxwell graduated from this life
to his eternal home and was united with his Savior whom he loved. He was born
in Georgetown, Ohio, on November 15, 1921, and grew up during the Great
Depression. Though his mother died at an early age, his father was a godly
man and raised him and his brother Millard to follow Christ no matter how
hard the situation.
On August 25, 1942, Maxwell married his wife, Laura. They had three children
together: Lawrence (Larry), John, and
Melvin Maxwell was known as a powerful man of God and prayer warrior by those
who knew him. On Saturday, July 4, 2020, Dr. Maxwell graduated from this life
to his eternal home and was united with his Savior whom he loved. He was born

OCU Named Top Military Friendly University

Ohio Christian University remains in the top 20 percent of colleges,
universities, and trade schools that are dedicated to serving those who
serve. For the sixth year in a row, Ohio Christian University was named a Top
Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs, the premier resource for military
personnel transitioning into civilian life.

Record 810 Graduates Celebrate Commencement

On Saturday, April 30, 2016, Ohio Christian University held its 66th
Commencement Ceremonies at the university’s main campus in Circleville,
Ohio. A record 810 associate, bachelor, and master level graduates
participated a total of four ceremonies: three in Ohio and one in Georgia
earlier this month.
Kelvin J. Cochran of Atlanta, Georgia, was the 2016 Commencement speaker.
Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Cochran followed his childhood dream
and became a firefighter in 1981. Working his way through the ranks, he was
appointed Fire Chief of the Shreveport Fire Department in 1999

Ohio Christian University had the honor of standing by the Pickaway County
Sheriff's Office today as Deputy Dale Thomas received an award for the
D.A.R.E program — a new D.A.R.E Hummer with a slick, patriotic paint job
— from local nonprofit Hetty’s Hopes and Dreams.
The event was held in the Pickaway County Fairgrounds Colosseum — a
warehouse-like space filled with more than 400 students, dozens of local law
enforcement, and Deputy Thomas’ family.
Seven bus loads brought more than 400 students, filling the Colosseum
bleachers. The excited students could barely contain their

Legacies that matter are connected with people. A hundred years from now all
that will matter is the people that you connected with in such a way that you
added value and meaning to their lives. Political commentator Walter Lippmann
said, “The final test of a leader is that he leaves behind in others the
conviction and will to carry on.” Ultimately, if your people can’t do it
without you, you haven’t been successful in raising up other leaders.
We have all heard that “when the student is ready, the teacher appears.”
I also believe that when the teacher is ready, the student appears.
