OCU Win 9th Game

The OCU Men's soccer program came off a tough road trip this past weekend and got back on their winning ways to defeat Southern State 3-1. The win places the OCU men at #3 in the nation and #1 in the Mid-East Region of the NCCAA Division 2 rankings. The Trailblazers are doing just that, trail blazing into new records as the year progresses with a 9-2-0 record. They have added another "hat-trick" hero to their list last night with Jimmy Galvan putting the "old onion in the onion basket" for all 3 goals. Assists were Emanuel Harris with 3 and 1 for Dexter Chapman in a rare double assist from a free kick.

The unsung heroes are the cornerstone of the team. "Our defense allowed only 3 shots all game. They are strong, physical and do a great all around job," commented coach Josh Murton.

The Men have a few days of rest and practice until this Friday when they play home against Lorain County College at 4:00 PM.
