Rev. Jamey Gremillion, who led the Missions Department at Ohio Christian University from 2012-2020, rested from his labors on Wednesday, February 28th after a valiant battle with cancer. His influence on our students was immense. The OCU community is marked by deep sadness and profound loss at the departure of our friend, colleague, and brother. We are grateful for his witness among us. He will be sorely missed.
Jamey’s faith was in the risen Lord, in whose words we trust: “this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” Though we sorrow, it is not without the sure and certain hope of resurrection.
Please remember Cara, Cameron (Blessing), Cade (Liz), Kelsey, Karis, and his extended family in your prayers.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, March 7, from 5-8 p.m. on campus at Detty Chapel.
The funeral will be on Friday, March 8 at 11:30 a.m., also at Detty Chapel.
