Online Emergency & Disaster Management Program Ranked #2 in the Country image

Ohio Christian University’s online Bachelor of Arts in Emergency & Disaster Management was recently ranked as the #2 program in the country by Intelligent.com.

According to Intelligent.com, the rankings are based on an assessment of 1,604 accredited colleges and universities. Each program is evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment.

Ohio Christian’s Emergency & Disaster Management Programs prepare students for work in government, non-profit and private emergency response organizations. The programs combine a strong course load in emergency and disaster management specific classes with fieldwork and experience in emergency exercises to ensure graduates are prepared for their careers.

“The requirement for emergency exercises is a part of our core course load for emergency management students,” said Dr. Thad Hicks, Head of the Emergency Management Program and Certified Emergency Manager. “The students learn to design exercises and participate in delivering them.”

“The emergency management program at OCU is leading the way when it comes to preparing tomorrow’s emergency management leaders for the career field,” said Hicks. Explore programs below:
