Student Accomplishments Celebrated in Senior & Honors Chapel

On Thursday, April 20, Ohio Christian University held its Senior and Honors Chapel, in which graduates were recognized by their departments as they were inducted into various honor societies. The Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Dione Bennett, opened with several selections and those in attendance were encouraged to join them in song at the conclusion of their portion of the schedule.

Nathan Driver, outgoing Student Body President, presented the graduating class with a towel with OCU’s seal on it, which has become a tradition on campus. The towel, associated with foot washing, represents servant leadership, which has been ingrained into the values of the OCU student body.

The 2017-2018 Student Government Association officers were recognized, and Dr. Larry Olson administered the oath of office to incoming Student Body President Nathan Copeland. Commencement is Saturday, April 29th where 790 students will receive their degrees.
