“Ohio Christian University is definitely having a significant and symbolic impact on my business, professional, and spiritual life,” declares to Gloria Riley, an MBA student at Ohio Christian University’s AGS Morrow, GA campus.
Gloria’s motto is “Growth and development of people is the principal calling of leadership.” As owner of McDonough Insurance and Financial Services in McDonough, GA, Gloria gladly shares how meaningful OCU is to her progress, emphasizing how much she values the Christ-centered education the University is providing. Having previously earned her undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University, also a Christian university, Gloria is grateful that she followed the Holy Spirit’s leading her to enroll in the Morrow program.
“From the professors, classmates, staff, and administrators, OCU is an inspiration professionally and spiritually and an important pathway in my journey to greater purpose now,” she explains. “The hands-on approach and dedication to teaching that each professor demonstrates to serve MBA students like me is greatly cherished. My OCU experience has encouraged me to pursue my dreams and passions without self-imposed limitations. This transformation is making a difference in my business too, as I am applying cutting-edge business applications, practices, and fresh knowledge to my firm that I’m learning in my program. The spiritual nourishment is of key significance.”
While attending OCU Gloria is simultaneously enrolled in the John C. Maxwell Certification Program and has launched a new speaking, teaching, training, and coaching business. The program enables her to impact and inspire individuals through leadership training, growth development, and coaching.
As Gloria testifies, “Studying for my MBA at OCU is equipping me for my purpose and is helping transform my vision, where I continue to sow seeds in the lives of others and add value in their personal and professional lives, whether it is in business planning, risk management, or leadership training. I am equipped, thanks to OCU, and following the Holy Spirit.”
