MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2019-20 River States Conference Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team proudly recognizes 60 student-athletes from around the conference this year. The Lady Trailblazer basketball program boasted seven awardees, including Chayla Davis, Staci Pertuset, Carolane Cox, Bethany Conrad, Katie Thompson, Taylor Rawlings, and Helaina Limas.
Student-athletes named are those who have a 3.25 grade-point average or higher, have at least two semesters of attendance prior to the current term, participate in an RSC sport and are nominated by their institution.
The NAIA sponsors a similar award program of the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, which is awarded to juniors and seniors with a 3.50 GPA or higher.

earlier in the season, the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers could not
buy a bucket on Saturday, as the Pioneers of Point Park University evened the
season series at one a piece with a 80-46 win on Saturday. Ohio Christian's

PITTSBURGH, PA – Wrapping up the regular season and looking ahead to the
conference tournament, the Lady Trailblazers battled the Pioneers of Point
Park University on Saturday. After defeating the Pioneers at home on Senior
Night in January, Ohio Christian could not complete the season sweep in a
92-88 road loss in Pittsburgh. After a close opening quarter, the Pioneers
jumped ahead in the second by using a 25-15 run to build a 12-point halftime
lead. Following the break, the Lady Trailblazers responded with a run of
their own, cutting the deficit to five entering the final 10 minutes

RICHMOND, IN – Facing the Red Wolves of Indiana University East (RV) on the
road on Saturday, the Trailblazers looked to avenge their 95-94 overtime loss
at home earlier in the season. From the tip, the Red Wolves maintained the
momentum, starting the day on a 16-2 run leading to a 52-24 halftime lead.
The Trailblazers struggled to find an edge, as OCU struggled from the field
in the opening 20 minutes. In the second half, OCU's offense began to pick
up the pace to increase their point total but failed to overcome the early
