MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2019-20 River States Conference Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team proudly recognizes 60 student-athletes from around the conference this year. The Lady Trailblazer basketball program boasted seven awardees, including Chayla Davis, Staci Pertuset, Carolane Cox, Bethany Conrad, Katie Thompson, Taylor Rawlings, and Helaina Limas.
Student-athletes named are those who have a 3.25 grade-point average or higher, have at least two semesters of attendance prior to the current term, participate in an RSC sport and are nominated by their institution.
The NAIA sponsors a similar award program of the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, which is awarded to juniors and seniors with a 3.50 GPA or higher.

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Powered by a quick offensive attack and transition points,
the Lady Trailblazers took down the Red Wolves of Indiana University East on
Saturday to grab their first River States Conference win of the year. Ohio
Christian built their lead early, taking a nine-point lead into the halftime
break. The Red Wolves saw success in the third period, cutting the deficit
down to three points before the final 10 minutes. The Lady Trailblazers
regained their edge down the stretch, finishing one shy of 100 points in the
