MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2019-20 River States Conference Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team proudly honors 36 student-athletes this year. Six of those athletes come from the Trailblazer Basketball program including Jordan Green, Samson Sandhu, Juan Woods, Rohan Ashok, Allen Mattam, and Gabriel Casey.
To be named, student-athletes must have a 3.25 grade-point average or higher, have at least two semesters of attendance prior to the current term, participate in an RSC sport and be nominated by their institution.
The NAIA sponsors a similar award program of the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, which is awarded to juniors and seniors with a 3.50 GPA or higher.

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - One day prior to taking their team into the River States
Conference championship against Indiana University Southeast, Staci Pertuset
(1st Team) and Rachel Gillum (2nd Team) each were named All-RSC members on
Monday afternoon. The nominations came from each head coach around the
conference. Pertuset has put an exclamation point on her career at OCU,
averaging mindboggling numbers of 20.8 PPG, 8.2 RPG, and 4.4 APG. She also
currently ranks #1 in NAIA DII for steals (153) and steals per game (5.1). On
February 8th, Pertuset set a new career high with 40 points against

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Following the conclusion of the 2019-20 season, Sophomore
Justin Barksdale has been named All-RSC First Team by the conference's head
coaches. Barksdale joined nine others from around the conference to be named
first team members. Overall, Barksdale put up numbers of 16.1 PPG and 9.0
RPG, averaging just short of a double double. In total, Barksdale finished
the year with 452 points and 251 rebounds, while shooting 53.4% from the
field. Barksdale helped lead his squad to their first appearance in the

MIDWAY, KY – In the team's first playoff appearance in three years, Head
Coach Brenda Baker and the Lady Trailblazers came hungry for a win on
Wednesday, as they knocked off #2 seed Midway University on the road 79-67.
Ohio Christian will now return home for a semi-final matchup with the #4 seed
Cougars of Indiana University Kokomo. Despite seeing starting PG Carolane

NEW ALBANY, IN – Qualifying for the conference tournament for the first
time under Head Coach Casey Coons, the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers
faced the # 1 seed Grenadiers of Indiana University Southeast on Wednesday in
the River States Conference Quarterfinals. After a stellar first half effort
that included a five-point halftime lead, the Trailblazers struggled to slow
down the high powered Grenadiers in the final 20 minutes in the 93-78
