2020 Men's Soccer Schedule Released

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Ohio Christian University Men's Soccer program is set
to begin a new era in the Fall of 2020, as newly announced head coach George
Arroyo will take over the team for his first season. Coming off a 2019
campaign in which the Trailblazers made the conference tournament, Arroyo is
confident the team is ready to improve and move up within the RSC. "I think I
speak for everyone in saying we're excited about the upcoming schedule.
Except for one, we faced each of these teams last season, so it gives us an

When three Ohio Christian University students first considered summer job
plans, traveling to British Columbia, Canada, to work at Malibu Club, a Young
Life Youth Camp, wasn’t on their radar.
Boarding the flight across the continent, senior Amber Ginter and sophomores
Liam Benson and Benjamin Johnson took a leap of faith to see what God had in
store for them. Completing 2,650 miles of airplane, ferry, and car travel,
the students arrived at Malibu Club situated on the bank of a remote British

Samuel Church came to Ohio Christian University (OCU) looking to make a
difference. Growing up in Toledo, OH in a struggling economy, Samuel
experienced his family digging deep to overcome the challenge. “There
weren’t expectations of rising and doing anything big, but I decided not to
settle for that,” he recalls.
Samuel focused his energy and effort on athletics where he excelled, and OCU
recruited him to join the track team. When he visited the campus in
Circleville, OH, he was unsure what the future held. But, he remembers,

Ohio Christian Named Champions of Character Five-Star Institution

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Ohio Christian University is pleased to announce that
they have been named an NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Institution for
the 2017-18 academic year.
Each year, NAIA schools use the Champions of Character scorecard to measure
the pursuit of character-driven athletics. Schools scoring a minimum of 60
out of 100 points earn the Champions of Character Five-Star Institution
Award.
The Champions of Character Scorecard measures growth in training, promotion,
conduct in competition and commitment in five key areas with a possibility of
earning 100 points.
