31st Annual Golf Scholarship Tournament A Success

Ohio Christian University’s (OCU) 31st Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
occurred on Monday, May 16th at Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio.
Twenty-four four-person teams enjoyed a round of golf raising over $50,000 to
fund scholarships for current students. These OCU Scholarships are awarded to
current campus students each spring at the Annual Scholarship Banquet.
"The golf tournament is one of our major fund-raising events for student
scholarships," explained OCU President Dr. Jon Kulaga. "The engagement and
generosity of each of the golfers is critical to our ability to assist

Ohio Christian University's 30th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament was held
on Saturday, June 19th, at the Pickaway Country Club Golf Course. Four-person
teams enjoyed a round of golf, raising over $40,000 to fund scholarships for
current students. These OCU Scholarships are awarded to current campus
students each year at the Annual Scholarship Banquet.
"The annual OCU golf tournament is one of our major fundraising events for
student scholarships – and is also a great way to connect with donors who
love golf and love our students", explained OCU President Dr. Jon Kulaga.

Trailblazers Play In RSC Fall Preview

FLORENCE, IN - The Ohio Christian University Trailblazers participated in the
River States Conference Fall Preview on Monday and Tuesday. The tournament
was held at Belterra Golf Course, the same course as the RSC Men's Golf
Championship in the spring.
Leading the way for Ohio Christian in the first round was Michael Cooper
(JR/Pauma Valley, CA), who shot a 3-over 74 in the opening round to stand in
10th place individually. In the second round, Cooper struggled to keep pace,
leading to a final round 81 and a finish of T-21st. Following an opening

FLORENCE, IN - The Ohio Christian University golf program wrapped up their
2019 Fall schedule on Tuesday afternoon at the River States Conference
Championships hosted at Belterra Golf Course in Florence, Ind. Brescia
University would come away with the overall title for the second consecutive
year, sending them to the NAIA Championships in Arizona.
Following the 54 hole event, the Trailblazers finished in 10th place

NICHOLASVILLE, KY - The Ohio Christian University Trailblazers kicked off
their spring schedule on Monday and Tuesday with a two day tournament hosted
by Asbury University. The tournament would be played at Connemara Golf Course
in Nicholasville, KY.
The squad was led over two days by Michael Cooper (SO/Pauma Valley, CA), who
would shoot a 75 in his opening round followed by a 76 to finish in a tie for
25th place. Dylan Wilkerson (SR/Brookville, OH) would be the next Trailblazer
on the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 34th with scores of 77 and 80. The

the River States Conference Fall Preview on Monday and Tuesday, hosted at
Belterra Golf Course in Florence, IN. Missing a couple key pieces, the squad
would finish in 7th place out of 11 total teams with an overall score of 670
(334, 336).
Individually, Michael Cooper (SO/Pauma Valley, CA) would finish in 7th place
overall, riding a score of 76 on Tuesday to jump up two spots from Monday's
