Trailblazer Baseball Hosts Local Student Battling Cancer

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Back in February, the Ohio Christian Baseball team helped
host a local student battling cancer in the community. Sam, who currenlty has
spinal ependymoma, came to campus on February 24th to hang out with the team
and experience a practice.

Seven Lady Trailblazers Named RSC Scholar Athletes

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2019-20 River States Conference Women's Basketball
Scholar-Athlete Team proudly recognizes 60 student-athletes from around the
conference this year. The Lady Trailblazer basketball program boasted seven
awardees, including Chayla Davis, Staci Pertuset, Carolane Cox, Bethany
Conrad, Katie Thompson, Taylor Rawlings, and Helaina Limas. Student-athletes
named are those who have a 3.25 grade-point average or higher, have at least
two semesters of attendance prior to the current term, participate in an RSC
sport and are nominated by their institution. The NAIA

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2019-20 River States Conference Men's Basketball
Scholar-Athlete Team proudly honors 36 student-athletes this year. Six of
those athletes come from the Trailblazer Basketball program including Jordan
Green, Samson Sandhu, Juan Woods, Rohan Ashok, Allen Mattam, and Gabriel
Casey. To be named, student-athletes must have a 3.25 grade-point average
or higher, have at least two semesters of attendance prior to the current
term, participate in an RSC sport and be nominated by their
institution. The NAIA sponsors a similar award program of the
NAIA-Daktronics Scholar

SIOUX CITY, IA – A year of history and memories ended on Thursday
afternoon, as the Ohio Christian University Lady Trailblazers lost in the
round of 32 in the 2020 NAIA DII Women's Basketball Tournament. Facing the #1
seed in the Duer bracket, the #6 seeded Lady Trailblazers lost to the Fire of
Southeastern University 107-55.

Community Action Day - It was a GREAT Day!

April 11th proved to not just be a nice day to be outside, but a great day to
serve the community of Circleville and surrounding areas. In its 20thyear,
Community Action Day brought out over 400 students to serve residents and
businesses who were in need. A tradition at Ohio Christian University,
classes were canceled, and students were able to go into the public and
implement the service attitude taught at OCU.
With help from Volunteer Economy and RPHF Solid Waste District, students were
equipped to effectively serve and feel prepared to do so. Students served in
various capacities
April 11th proved to not just be a nice day to be outside, but a great day to

Second Annual Youth Leadership Conference

Over fifty youth leaders from more than thirty churches and organizations
converged on the Ohio Christian University campus for the second annual Youth
Leadership Conference. Anticipation for the conference was met with engaging
and relevant information applicable to those in attendance. The subject
of the day was the importance of actively engaging youth with the reality of
Biblical Truth in these formative years. Dr. Walt Mueller, expert in youth
culture and President of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding, began the
conference with a dive into youth culture and practical ways

OCU Hosts OCSAA Final Four

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Ohio Christian University Athletic Department was
pleased to once again host the boys and girls state basketball championships
for the Ohio Christian School Athletic Association (OCSAA) on March 1-2. Ohio
Christian has been a long-standing supporter of the OCSAA, hosting both their
Fall and Winter championships in soccer, volleyball, and basketball.
The 2019 Final Four consised of eight games including four semifinals, two
consolation games, and two championship games. On the girl’s side, the New
Hope Lady Statesmen took the state title, while the Sabres from
