Trailblazers Host Annual Pickaway County "Community Game"

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Despite a strong effort from Sophomore Justin Barksdale (SO/Fishers, IN), the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers fell short against the West Virginia Tech Golden Bears (RV) on Tuesday evening, falling to 4-8 in River States Conference play.

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Attempting to hand their opponent their first loss in conference play, the Ohio Christian University Lady Trailblazers hosted the Golden Bears of West Virginia Tech on Tuesday evening. After keeping tight through three quarters, the Lady Trailblazers struggled to slow the Golden Bears' attack in the final 10 minutes as West Virginia Tech held on to win 94-75. 

NEW ALBANY, IN – Playing their fourth game in seven days, the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers took on the Grenadiers of Indiana University Southeast on Saturday. Despite a strong second half performance, the Trailblazers saw too many mistakes in the first half come back to bite them, as the Grenadiers went on to win 84-65. IU Southeast jumped out of the gates early to seize momentum, as a 15-4 run in the final 6:09 of the first half gave the Grenadiers a 45-26 lead at the intermission. Following halftime, the Trailblazers began to reap the benefits of increased aggression and

NEW ALBANY, IN – Coming off a key bounce back win on Thursday night over Brescia, the Lady Trailblazers faced their fourth opponent in seven days on Saturday. Traveling to battle a tough Grenadiers' squad, Ohio Christian relied on a strong third quarter and last minute heroics to pull out their second consecutive win.

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Coming off a two-game road trip, the Trailblazers returned to the Maxwell Center on Thursday night for date with the Bearcats of Brescia University. Unfortunately for the Trailblazers, turnovers proved to be a key difference maker, as the Bearcats took advantage of Ohio Christian's mistakes in the 76-71 loss.
