CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Back in February, the Ohio Christian Baseball team helped host a local student battling cancer in the community. Sam, who currenlty has spinal ependymoma, came to campus on February 24th to hang out with the team and experience a practice.

Dr. Melvin Maxwell Graduates to Glory

Melvin Maxwell was known as a powerful man of God and prayer warrior by those
who knew him. On Saturday, July 4, 2020, Dr. Maxwell graduated from this life
to his eternal home and was united with his Savior whom he loved. He was born
in Georgetown, Ohio, on November 15, 1921, and grew up during the Great
Depression. Though his mother died at an early age, his father was a godly
man and raised him and his brother Millard to follow Christ no matter how
hard the situation.
On August 25, 1942, Maxwell married his wife, Laura. They had three children
together: Lawrence (Larry), John, and

Community Action Day - It was a GREAT Day!

April 11th proved to not just be a nice day to be outside, but a great day to
serve the community of Circleville and surrounding areas. In its 20thyear,
Community Action Day brought out over 400 students to serve residents and
businesses who were in need. A tradition at Ohio Christian University,
classes were canceled, and students were able to go into the public and
implement the service attitude taught at OCU.
With help from Volunteer Economy and RPHF Solid Waste District, students were
equipped to effectively serve and feel prepared to do so. Students served in
various capacities

Second Annual Youth Leadership Conference

Over fifty youth leaders from more than thirty churches and organizations
converged on the Ohio Christian University campus for the second annual Youth
Leadership Conference. Anticipation for the conference was met with engaging
and relevant information applicable to those in attendance. The subject
of the day was the importance of actively engaging youth with the reality of
Biblical Truth in these formative years. Dr. Walt Mueller, expert in youth
culture and President of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding, began the
conference with a dive into youth culture and practical ways

Ohio Christian University will be hosting The Silver Ring Thing's UNALTERED
Tour, an event for teens and their parents, in the Ministry and Performing
Arts Center on Saturday, April 13th. The mission of the tour is to lead
students into the fullness of life and their goal is to empower a generation
to know the truth and experience freedom and flourishing through the Gospel
of Jesus Christ.

confused, and that they are shaping their identities in likes, comments,

I was born into a non-Christian home. My three brothers and I never darkened
a church door unless for a Boy Scout event. My life turned upside down at age
11 when my Dad died. My Mom searched for the meaning of life and found the
Savior. Soon I sought my life’s purpose. My quest ended in trusting Jesus
Christ as my Savior, accepting His charge of my life and seeking His
