You’re Invited to Ohio Christian University Homecoming 2015

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio - Ohio Christian University invites the Circleville community to its annual Homecoming celebration October 1-3, 2015. Events include the Rodriguez 5k Walk and Run, Alumni and Friends Picnic, and Torch Run. These events are open to the public and will be held on Ohio Christian University’s main campus in Circleville, Ohio.


Jonathan Faulks, Director of Events and Alumni Relations, recognizes the importance Homecoming saying, “Through events like this our goal is to reconnect with fellow alumni, faculty, staff, students, and community members.”


Homecoming at Ohio Christian University is a time for the City of Circleville and the OCU community to come together for fun, fellowship, and to create lasting memories. We hope to see you there!

Event & Ticket Details

Rodriguez 5k Run and Walk

Date: Saturday, Oct. 3, at 8:00 a.m.

Cost: $20 before or $25 day-of

All proceeds from the 5k go to the Josias Rodriguez Ministry Scholarship Fund, which was established to preserve the legacy of Josias Rodriguez — a 19 year-old sophomore in OCU’s Ministry program who passed away in 2013.

Cost includes a 5k t-shirt, as well as snacks and beverages. Bring the whole family!


Alumni and Friends Picnic

Date: Saturday, Oct. 3 at 12:00 p.m.

Cost: Free! But please register beforehand for food counts.

After you finish the Rodriguez 5k Run & Walk, bring the whole family over for some free food, fellowship, and inflatables for the kids!


The Torch Run

Date: Thursday, Oct. 1 at 9:00 p.m.

Cost: Free!


The Torch Run is a tradition in Circleville. The annual “main street relay,” began in 2007 and has been a way for the community to connect with OCU ever since. Through The Torch Run, Ohio Christian University allows for the community to feel included in the university family. The Torch Run will be followed by a bonfire and fellowship.
