Ohio Christian University is hosting Pizza and Points for youth groups and prospective students to cheer on the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers during the Men’s Basketball game against the Point Park University Pioneers on Saturday, January 18th at 3 p.m.
The free event includes admission to the game, pizza, giveaways and face painting. In addition, high school juniors and seniors can enter to shoot a half court shot for a chance to win a $12,000 scholarship!

Incoming Campus Students Attend Summer Orientation

On July 10th, Ohio Christian University welcomed 62 incoming students to
campus for the first Orientation Day of the summer. Orientation Days are
for incoming students to the Undergraduate Campus Program to register for
classes and prepare for their first semester on campus.
OCU had several COVID-19 procedures in place including taking temperatures,
requiring masks, social distancing guidelines, and hand sanitizing stations
to help ensure the safety of everyone on campus.

Alumni Spotlight: Lauren Ray

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – A familiar face is once again killing it for Ohio
Christian University, only this time her impact is being seen off the court.
Lauren Ray, a 2018 Emergency and Disaster Management graduate of OCU,
currently serves as the Assistant Director of Student Life – Housing and
Discipline, a role she took over earlier this year. Lady Trailblazer
Volleyball fans will remember Lauren as a key member of the program, playing
for the team for three seasons (2015-17). Originally from Canal Winchester,
OH, Lauren transferred into OCU following her freshman year at Ohio
University,

Ohio Christian University is working hard to prepare for the start of the
Spring 2020 semester, which begins Jan. 8. This semester, the campus welcomes
over 20 new students, 10 of whom are transferring from Cincinnati Christian
University following the closing of its doors.
The university is welcoming double the number of new students as last spring,
so it is fundamental that each individual feels comfortable as the semester

Criminal Justice Program Keeps Students Current

Ohio Christian University (OCU) Criminal Justice Program students
participated in several learning enrichment events recently that included
attending expert advisory council discussions, touring an Ohio penal
institution, and observing canine-assisted narcotics crime apprehension.

OCU’s Criminal Justice Department held its annual Criminal Justice
Advisory Council meeting. The Council collaborates with the Criminal Justice
Program director to ensure students receive a current and comprehensive
curriculum that prepares them to succeed in

CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Ohio Christian University is pleased to announce that
they have been named an NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Institution for
the 2017-18 academic year.
Each year, NAIA schools use the Champions of Character scorecard to measure
the pursuit of character-driven athletics. Schools scoring a minimum of 60
out of 100 points earn the Champions of Character Five-Star Institution
Award.
The Champions of Character Scorecard measures growth in training, promotion,
conduct in competition and commitment in five key areas with a possibility of
earning 100 points.

2018 OCU Fall Move-In Day Proves One of Best!

Ohio Christian University’s 2018 fall semester Move-In Day proved one of
the best. As rain-laden early-day clouds dispersed, a bright sun emerged to
enliven this much-anticipated and event-filled day.
Greeted by “#OCUMoveIn - Welcome Home” posters, an eager class of new
students streamed into the University’s Ministry and Performing Arts Center
(MPAC) to sign in, check into dorms, and finish financial arrangements.
Admissions staff, clad in OCU-blue polo shirts, warmly greeted the
newcomers. Blue and silver balloons festooned check-in tables where the
freshmen picked up First Year
