Youth Groups Invited to Pizza and Points

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Powered by a quick offensive attack and transition points, the Lady Trailblazers took down the Red Wolves of Indiana University East on Saturday to grab their first River States Conference win of the year. Ohio Christian built their lead early, taking a nine-point lead into the halftime break. The Red Wolves saw success in the third period, cutting the deficit down to three points before the final 10 minutes. The Lady Trailblazers regained their edge down the stretch, finishing one shy of 100 points in the 99-90 win. 

The Ohio Christian University Trailblazers invite fans to attend a non-conference game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers. The Trailblazers will face off against the Grace College Lancers in Indianapolis, IN on December 30 at 5:30 in the evening.Tickets to attend the Trailblazers vs. Lancers game are $10. Individuals who would like to attend the Pacers vs 76ers game the following day at 3 p.m. may purchase a ticket that includes both games for $30.80 until December 2. CIRCLEVILLE, OH - In a game of ups and downs, the Trailblazers prevailed on Saturday with an overtime victory over the University of Rio Grande. The win sets Ohio Christian at 1-1 in River States Conference play with two games remaining before Christmas break. 

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Following a close road loss to a talented West Virginia Tech squad, the Ohio Christian University Lady Trailblazers battled the Red Storm from the University of Rio Grande on Saturday. After a tight opening half, the Red Storm gained the advantage in the second half to pull away with the high scoring 100-86 win.   

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Ohio Christian University senior Staci Pertuset (SR/West Union, OH) had a huge week averaging 20.5 points, 18.5 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 6.0 steals per game to claim River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week Nov. 18-24.  A 5-8 guard from West Union, Ohio, Pertuset (formerly Dinsmore) led the Trailblazers to a 2-0 week. First was a 117-67 win over Geneva followed by a 125-73 victory over St. Mary of the Woods.  She had 18 points, 17 rebounds, seven assists and six steals versus Geneva.
