Scholarships
Our scholarships are awarded upon acceptance and renewed each year as long as you maintain the required GPA and enrollment requirements.
Eligibility – those who have graduated from Ohio Christian University or Circleville Bible College in the past. Undergraduate Students must maintain a 2.5 semester or cumulative GPA or the scholarship amount drops to $250 in the following semester. Undergraduate Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative or semester GPA to retain any scholarship. Graduate students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to retain any scholarship.
If a student’s scholarship is lowered or lost due to GPA they may renew the scholarship by attaining a 2.5 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate) cumulative GPA. The scholarship may then be renewed for the next semester.
Eligibility – those who complete a full file before matriculation. This does not apply to re-admitted students.

Eligibility- $250 (part time) or $500 (full time) per semester, available to Veterans, spouses, or dependents in the undergraduate program. $250 (part time) or $500 (full time) per semester, available to Veterans in the graduate program
Grants
The Pell Grant is a federal grant provided to every part-time or full-time student who shows exceptional financial need. This is granted to full-time or part-time students.
The Ohio College Opportunity Grant is a need based grant for some Pell Grant recipients who are Ohio residents. This is granted to full-time or part-time students.
The Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is intended to supplement the Pell Grant. It is provided by the federal government to eligible full-time students based on need.
The Second Chance Grant Pilot Program provides financial assistance in the form of $2,000 grants to eligible students re-enrolling in order to obtain a degree or credential. Ohio Christian University is registered with the Ohio Department of Higher Education to provide opportunities for students who wish to return to finish an unfinished degree.
Eligible students must meet these basic requirements:
- Is a resident of Ohio who is transferring to OCU from a State University in Ohio
- Has been "out of school" for at least 3 semesters
- Maintained good academic standing without disciplinary issues
- Has completed a FAFSA application
- Is not already a recipient of a separate Ohio Support Scholarship
- Has not yet earned a Bachelor's Degree
- Has communicated with OCU about these criteria
