Students in any bachelor-level education program may elect to add the 21-hour Dual Intervention Specialist license. After completing all coursework, these students will be eligible to take the Ohio Assessment for Educators exams to be a licensed educator in their chosen area (Primary Education, Middle Childhood or Adolescence to Young Adult Education), and as an Intervention Specialist.

EDU3530 Assessments for Special Education
Interpreting the results of standardized tests, screening students, and developing classroom assessment, including IEP’s, ETR’s, 504 plans; writing IEP goals; techniques for monitoring student progress and IEP benchmarks.
