Teacher Education Camp

Students interested in going into the teaching field will have the opportunity to study with professors who have experience not only training teachers but who have excelled in the classroom. Campers will have the opportunity to get some hands-on experience while on campus in a classroom setting. Participants will provide instructions and activities while under the supervision of our experienced professors.

The Teacher Education Camp is sponsored by the Teacher Education Department.

Teacher Education Camp is open to students entering 10th through 12th grades.

Teacher Education Camp will run alongside the other academic camps.  All camps will participate in dynamic worship with the Student Development chapel teams, under the direction of Kevin Bennie, Director of Spiritual Formation, and Michelle Martin, Coordinator of Worship Arts.  Evening activities will be hosted by the Student Development team, under the direction of Joe Wuest, Assistant Vice President of Student Development, and Abby Ferraro, Camp Team Director.
